Local-first by design
KidCurve is a parent-managed growth and healthy-routine tracker, primarily designed for families with school-age children and teens. Profiles, measurements, routine logs, food preferences, and parent-entered bone-age records stay on the device. KidCurve 1.0 does not upload these records, use advertising SDKs, track users across apps or websites, or sell personal data.
Permissions and purchases
KidCurve 1.0 does not request Photos access. The camera is requested only when a parent starts optional on-device exercise counting. Camera frames are processed on the iPhone and are not recorded, retained, or uploaded. A country growth reference is selected in the app; production KidCurve 1.0 does not request location access, collect coordinates, or include a location permission. iOS may use Face ID, Touch ID, or the device passcode for sensitive parent actions. Apple StoreKit processes purchases and KidCurve does not receive payment-card details.
Local reminders and movement timers
Optional meal, movement, and sleep reminders are scheduled locally with generic household copy and no child names. KidCurve uses no APNs or remote-push service. A parent can edit or disable reminders at any time. On supported iOS 26 or later devices, AlarmKit permission is requested only after the parent starts a movement timer. Unsupported systems, denial, or scheduling failure use the in-app timer; sleep reminders remain ordinary local notifications. KidCurve does not track reminder or timer activity.
Retention, deletion, and archives
Records stay on the device until a parent deletes a child, performs full local-data deletion, or removes the app. Full deletion cancels app-owned notifications, AlarmKit timers, Live Activity state, protected files, reports, caches, and temporary archives. An encrypted archive a parent has saved to Files, iCloud, or another chosen destination remains there until the parent deletes it. Clearing local data does not cancel or refund Apple purchases.
Contact
A parent may withdraw optional permissions in iOS Settings and contact support@app-prd.top. Support email does not automatically attach child records, photos, health data, or a device identifier.
